Synopsis
The world is being ravaged by the Covid-19 pandemic. A state of emergency has been declared in Latvia. In Riga, the airport is empty and the main square – deserted. The city centre is almost devoid of life except for cellist Normunds, the pigeons he feeds, and the police cars. Normunds does not want to return home because he is irritated with his daughter and wife, so he keeps playing his instrument in the empty town square.
