Olimpia is legendary ballroom dancer and a fixture at local dance halls. At seventy, she dusts off her orchestra’s tour bus and sets out on a journey to see her loved ones and all the places where she became a star. For some time, though, Olimpia’s been having memory problems, so she hires Maria to be her driver. Maria: as moody and taciturn as Olimpia is brash, over-the-top, and emotional. Nevertheless, the two women grow close, until it suddenly dawns on Maria that Olimpia wants more than a driver, since she never told a soul that this trip would be her last.
