Synopsis
In the midst of the Atomic Age, an infertile couple’s life becomes an inescapable nightmare after they participate in an experimental clinical trial that leads to the birth of a demonic mushroom baby. Over the course of one day in the 50s, we watch as the couple and their government handler try to deal with the volatile situation, whilst the baby begins to put its parents through strange physical and mental changes.
